Reemot does not find my TV. What now?
The most common cause is the phone and TV being on different Wi-Fi networks (for example phone on guest Wi-Fi, TV on the main network). Confirm both are on the same network and tap Search Again on the discovery screen.
On iOS, also verify Local Network access is on under Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › Reemot.
On Samsung TVs, IP Remote has to be enabled under Settings › General › External Device Manager › Device Connection Manager.
I tapped a TV but it never connects.
Look at the TV screen. The first connection asks the TV owner to approve the remote, and the prompt only stays up for a few seconds. Tap Allow on the TV.
After that, Reemot remembers the connection so every future launch reconnects in under a second without a prompt.
Which TVs are supported?
Samsung Tizen TVs from 2016 and newer, and LG WebOS TVs.
Older Samsung sets (pre-2016) used a different remote-control system that Reemot does not support. If your TV brand is neither Samsung nor LG, the network scan will skip it.
How do I delete my saved TVs and reset the app?
Open Account › Delete Account Data. That clears saved TV records, pairing data, app preferences, and language choice, then drops you back at the onboarding screen.
Purchases are not deleted; bring Pro back later via Restore Purchases.
How much is Pro and what does it unlock?
The free tier covers what most people need: D-pad, volume, mute, channel up and down, number pad, and one saved TV.
Pro adds touchpad cursor mode, keyboard input to the TV, the app launcher row (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime, Spotify, browser), source and input switching, multiple saved TVs, and unlimited Wakes.
Pricing is $2.99 per month, $9.99 per year, or $19.99 lifetime. Monthly and yearly include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
I bought Pro on my old phone. How do I get it on a new device?
On the new device, sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used originally, install Reemot, then go to Account › Restore Purchases. The store looks up your purchase and re-grants Pro automatically.
Can Reemot turn the TV on if it is asleep?
Yes. Connect to the TV at least once while it is on, so Reemot can save what it needs to wake it later. After that, the saved TV card has a Wake TV button.
Free accounts get 5 free wakes per install. Pro is required for unlimited.
I have several TVs at home. Can Reemot manage them all?
The free tier remembers one TV. With Pro you can save multiple TVs and switch between them from the discovery screen.
Reemot connects to one at a time. You cannot send a key to two TVs at once.
