Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Zawilab, operated by Zawaar Abbas, based in Barcelona, Spain("we", "us", "our"), and govern your access to and use of the Reemot mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. In Spain, the digital age of consent is 14 under the LOPDGDD; users below that age must have parental or guardian consent.

Reemot is a mobile application that turns your phone into a remote control for compatible smart televisions on the same Wi-Fi network. Supported TVs include Samsung Tizen models from 2016 and newer and LG WebOS models. Features include automatic discovery on the local network, key controls (D-pad, volume, channel, number pad), a touchpad cursor mode, on-screen keyboard input, an app launcher, source switching, and a wake-on-network function for saved TVs.

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use to control televisions you own or are otherwise authorised to control. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion to improve the App or to comply with applicable law.

Reemotdoes not require an account to use. Purchases are tied to your device's Apple ID or Google account through the relevant app store. You are responsible for the security of those accounts and for any purchases made under them.

Saved TV connections, pairing tokens, and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can clear them at any time from Account › Delete Account Data inside the App.

You agree to use Reemot only to control televisions you own or have explicit permission to control. In particular, you agree not to:

• connect to or attempt to control televisions in workplaces, shops, restaurants, hotels, or other public or shared spaces without authorisation from the operator of that space;
• interfere with someone else's viewing on a private network you do not have permission to use;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law;
• interfere with the operation of the App, including by introducing malware, abusing rate limits, or attempting to bypass security measures;
• use automated tools (bots, scripts) to send keystrokes or commands at a rate that could disrupt normal television operation;
• use the App in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.

The App, including its name, logo, design, source code, illustrations, and other content provided by Zawilab, is owned by Zawilab or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Trade names and trademarks of third parties (Samsung, LG, Tizen, WebOS, Apple, Google, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, Spotify, and others) belong to their respective owners and are used only for descriptive purposes. Reemot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any television manufacturer or streaming service.

Reemot is free to download. Some features (Reemot Pro) require an in-app purchase or subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal. Manage or cancel from your device:

• iOS: Settings › your name › Subscriptions
• Android: Play Store › Profile › Payments & subscriptions

Refund requests are handled by the relevant app store under their published refund policies. We do not process refunds outside the stores.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that every supported television model will work identically. Network conditions, firmware updates from the television manufacturer, and changes to platform APIs can affect functionality at any time.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Zawilab be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the App in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us during that period or (b) €50.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or (iv) any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the mandatory rights of consumers in the European Union.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the App processes (including the small amount of pairing data stored locally on your device) and the rights you have under the GDPR. Reemot does not require an account, does not collect personally identifying information, and does not sell your data.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or business practice. When we do:

• we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page;
• for material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice in the App or by email (where you have provided one) before the change takes effect;
• your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to a revision, you must stop using the App and may delete it from your device.

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The courts of Barcelona, Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except as provided below.

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer-protection law of that country. Nothing in these Terms affects those mandatory rights.
