This Privacy Policy describes how Zawilabprocesses personal data in connection with the zawilab.com website. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Spanish Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

A Data Protection Officer has not been appointed because the scale and nature of our processing does not require one under GDPR Article 37(1). All data protection enquiries are handled personally by Zawaar Abbas.
2.Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy covers personal data processed in connection with your use of the zawilab.com website. It does not cover the individual mobile applications distributed by Zawilab. Each application has its own privacy policy linked from its product page on the apps page.
3.Information We Collect
Analytics and tracking
We do not use any web analytics service, advertising network, or third party tracker on this website. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no fingerprinting, and no advertising identifiers. Page views are not logged in any analytics platform.
Contact form and email submissions
If you write to us through the contact form or directly by email, we receive the name, email address, and message content you provide. The contact form on the website opens your local email client with the data pre filled. We process this information under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Server access logs
Our hosting provider records standard access logs containing the requesting IP address, the browser user agent, the requested resource, and a timestamp. These logs are retained for 30 days and used only to investigate security incidents, abuse, and technical problems. They are not linked to any other personal data.
Cookies and local storage
The website does not use tracking cookies. We use a small amount of localStorage in your browser to remember your theme preference (light or dark). This data never leaves your device.
4.How We Use Your Information
We process the limited data described above for the following purposes and on the following lawful bases under GDPR Article 6:
- To answer your enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest, or Art. 6(1)(b) where you have requested information about a specific service).
- To secure the website against fraud, abuse, and technical incidents (Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in running a stable, safe service).

5.Hosting and Sub-processors
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS acts as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement consistent with GDPR Article 28. Data centres serving this site are located within the European Union, so data does not leave the EEA in the ordinary course of operation.

We do not use any other sub processors for this website. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
6.Data Retention

- Up to 24 months from the last reply, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Theme preference (localStorage)
- Stored on your device until you clear your browser data. Not retained by us.

7.Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR:

- Right to rectification (Art. 16): ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

- Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine readable format.

8.Children's Privacy
The website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. In Spain, the digital age of consent is 14 under the LOPDGDD. Where the user is under the applicable age, the parent or legal guardian must give consent on the user's behalf.

Each mobile application distributed by Zawilabhas its own privacy policy that covers the data processed by that app specifically. You can find them on each app's product page. Visit the apps page to see the current list.

We may update this Policy as the website evolves or as the law changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that affect how we process your personal data, we will provide a clear in page notice.
